How to Beat The Old Pike

The Old Pike approaches and thrashes in melee range. It is an assault-type boss: it promises a charge-style attack and goes rigid after the attack fails, opening the standard post-attack window.

The thrash hurts, but with a shotgun equipped it is documented as not fatal — this is the easiest battle in the whole set.

Equip a shotgun, stay in thrashing range and keep dealing continuous damage. The fight is explicitly rated the lightest of the eleven, so no elaborate movement is needed — just do not let the white patience bar time out.

💡 Eat first, then cast: even the easiest fight is lost on an empty hunger bar.
