How to Unlock
The preliminary battle of the finale. Cooperate with the scientist on Volcano Island: catch 5 local fish with the Scientific Lure and hand them over to receive the Fish Bucket, then use it to summon the ordinary Bowhead Whale.

How to Get the Bait: Give 5 Volcano Island fish (caught with the Scientific Lure) to the scientist; he hands over the Fish Bucket.
Boss Mechanics
Body Slam Punishes the Landing Point
Both whale versions punish anyone standing below the landing point. When the whale is in the air, run to the extreme edge of the arena — a body slam usually means death.
The Setup Fight
This ordinary whale is the necessary preparation for the Mutated Bowhead Whale: its corpse is the final boss's bait, which makes the after-battle handling part of the mechanics.

- Run away immediately when it jumps — do not stand under the flight path.
- Output damage after it lands, during its grounded window.
- Keep healing up; the whale battles are flagged as mandatory-healing fights.
After the Kill: Into the Volcano
Do not sell the corpse and do not use it as an ordinary trophy. Move the corpse into the volcano and throw it in — that is the step that triggers the Mutated Bowhead Whale, the final battle.
💡 After the landing, leave space around the corpse before returning: the post-landing displacement specifically targets players who rush in.
