Shrimp Location & How to Catch

The Shrimp is an Island 1 creature. Regular creatures are not strictly bound to one island — the correct lure plus rod opens the pool, and Island 1 is where that pool is recommended to be fished.

Use the Crab Fishing Rod with Free Lure. The Shrimp shares the Free Lure pool with other Island 1 regulars.

Like every creature in the game, the Shrimp has a rare Drip variant. Drip creatures are named in rainbow text instead of white — impossible to miss once one is on the line — and they come out of exactly the same pool: the same lure, the same rod, the same waters.

• Community reports put the Drip spawn chance for regular creatures at roughly 10% (unofficial).
• The catch only counts toward achievements if you kill the Drip creature — reeling it in alive does not.
